You know that terrible show on MTV "The Hills"? The main character (Lauren, I think her name is) lives in my apartment complex in Hollywood (actually just south of west hollywood). The exterior they show on tv is not actually the exterior of the complex and the name is made-up. I guess they do that for security reasons?? I discovered that she lives there last week when my roommate was watching the show and we recognized the interior of her apartment because it's identical to some of the units in our complex. It's pretty neat that they go to the same stores and restaurants that we go to (because we get to see them on TV), but the chance that we might have to interact with them is unfortunate.
