While I was home I helped Abby and Sharon make about 150 of these birdseed flowers. They are used to throw birdseed at the bride and groom as they walk away from the altar. It's kind of funny that you have to you to flick them pretty forcefully to get the birdseed to come out. We imagine that the congregation will look like an angry mob as they all make the flicking motion at the bride and groom.
